You may have noticed… there aren’t many salon options that cater to any and all hair types in our community. We at The Hive, strive to continue educating ourselves and providing the most up to date and texture inclusive services. Our goal is to cultivate a positive and safe salon environment for you to feel comfortable, seen, and have your goals and needs met with flying colors. Think of us (the stylists) as the bees, working in harmony to build a hive to protect our Queens (you, the guests).

Our owner, Alyssa, has been working in the hair industry for the past 10 years, catering to curls since her beauty school days. It has been her passion to be the stylist that she always wished she had, growing up with curls herself, but never was able to find. We want to help women and men from all walks of life, learn to love and embrace the hair they were born with. Giving them possibly the first positive salon experience of their lives… and helping them achieve the hair they’ve always dreamt of. The goal is to not only give our guests a great hair service, but to also help them learn how to achieve salon quality hair from their homes. Allowing them to gain confidence in their hair, and most importantly, in themselves.
